a day with Tiger Flowers

On Saturday I had the pleasure of spending the day tattooing my friends in Tiger Flowers and their friend John. tattooed for almost 13 hours straight. here's some pictures from the day courtesy of Mr.Dean Landry. (thanks for making the trip down to see me fellas!)

Dean got two pieces tattooed on him that were his own drawings. always an honor to recreate another artists' work on their body. Dean is one hell of a guy, photographer and artist.  Check out his website at  http://www.choochland.com/

Last but not least, Will was finally ready to cover up his first tattoo ever. He got "WILL" his name on his arm apparently because the shop charged $20 a letter and he had $80 on him and couldn't think of a better 4 letter word to get. "I bet he thought of a couple four letter words after he got the tattoo" - John

My boy Pat walked in the other day about 20 minutes late for his appointment. He said he'd had a bit too much to drink the night before, had gotten drugged and then maced and beat by a bunch of cops and spent part of the night in the insane asylum. I saw the nightstick bruises across his belly indicating he was telling the truth. the least I could do after such an ordeal was pardon his tardiness and hook him up with this fella. hope your new wolf friend grants you good fortune Pat !

I always like seeing progress photos of other peoples' work. how they got from point A to point B. so I figured I'd share. here's a couple of a piece I painted up that is now hanging up in my brother's house.

I'm a huge fan of classic pin up art (who isn't?) . I would like to start doing this type of tattoo more often. I had A LOT of fun doing it.
